BRICKWORK CONSERVATION WATCHING BRIEF REPORT

This report is for an archaeological watching brief involving the monitoring of brickwork repair and conservation at Scadbury Moated Manor. The work was contracted to Pierra Ltd by the London Borough of Bromley. It comprises repair of the brickwork in the large cellar; taking down and rebuilding the south and south west walls; repairing the drawbridge pit; constructing a metal grating over the drawbridge pit; and inserting an acro prop under the staircase in the hall. Work started on 27 September 2021.

NEW FENCING WATCHING BRIEF REPORT

This report is for an archaeological watching brief involving the monitoring of the installation of new fencing posts and panels at Scadbury Moated Manor, which is a Scheduled Monument. The work was contracted to idverde by the London Borough of Bromley. It comprises fencing around the north, east and south sides of the moated site. Work started on 24 March 2021 and following a long break, as one extra gate was delayed in being installed, it was finished on 1 December 2021.
